Bridge Day in West Virginia
Back again for 2013, there are spaces available to ride a shuttle bus into the New River Gorge to watch the BASE jumpers and rapellers. Tickets are $20/person and resevations are a must. To reserve a seat call the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce at 800-927-0263.
What does the shuttle look like?
The Into the Gorge Shuttles will be school buses that have Hometown Subaru Shuttle signs in the window where you step onto the bus.
Where do I catch the shuttles?
There are two stops where you can get onto the shuttle buses. These include the south end of the bridge and the north end of the bridge. There will be a sign setting at the spot where the buses will stop.
Where will the shuttles let me off?
The buses will let you off at the bottom, right before crossing the small bridge.
When do I have to come back up from the bottom?
There is no set time for you to come back up, however, it is a good idea to come back up before 3 pm.
Where do I get on the bus at the bottom to get back up?
You can get the bus that comes back up to the top at the end of the long driveway near Wolf Creek Bridge. This is also the jumper/rappeller loading point.
