West Virginia American Water and the New River Juniors have teamed up this year to make it possible for individuals to view Bridge Day from the bottom of the New River Gorge. For $50 per person individuals will be able to pick a time of either 8:30 am or 12:30 pm to board a van that will take you into the Gorge to watch rappellers as they slide and BASE jumpers as they leap 876 ft to the bottom. Included in the price is a lunch for each participant.
If you are interested in participating in this exciting journey you need to:
- Call the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce at 800-927-0263 or email fayette@wvdsl.net and let Sharon know which time and how many spaces you wish to reserve. Your name will then be penciled into a time slot.
- Mail a check made payable to Bridge Day for $50/person to:

- Along with your check, list each person’s:
Name
Address
Phone number
Email address
Driver’s license number (date of birth & Social Security # if a minor)
When we receive this information your space will be confirmed.
- After your reservation has been confirmed you will receive additional information you will need to be one of the lucky ones to view Bridge Day from the bottom!
